No, they aren't.
People have complimented Dorsey's eye for talent for a long time. He is just whining.

yep. This is what I said going back before the F-tag was placed. Folks were none too happy with that opinion. I don't have the same sentimental feels as most here do.. and just don't think his impact is worth anywhere near his asking price.

Berry has improved a little over the last couple of weeks. He is still getting himself together after missing camp etc.
I also wonder if he is still pouting about the contract negotiations. I imagine part of him is trying to make sure he doesn't get hurt this season so that can be healthy for FA next year. Not as physical this year so far Might change if we make the playoffs.

Dirty Dan has been making plays one would expect Berry to make...or that Berry USED to make. Berry may get an offer from KC but it won't be in the neighborhood of what he wanted.

Remember that Berry was used as a straight up box safety the last year or two. When Sutton came in and loaded the defensive backfield with safeties and then stumbled into a legit cover 1 guy in Parker, he started using those safety heavy formations with Berry in the Nickel linebacker role. Now without Abdullah, Demps and Branch, Barry has rotated back into the more coverage oriented role that they were playing with Sorensen playing the nickel linebacker role that Berry had been playing. The degree of difficulty is lower but the potential for impact plays seems higher. What it seems to suggest to me is that Berry's closer to a guard than a tackle at this point. He's Jeff Allen. He's pretty good playing the hard job but he really shines playing the easy one. And that easy one's not really all that hard to replace afterall. Some team is going to pay him to play a conventional safety thinking that he's going to go back to the being the playmaker he was as the nickel linebacker and I think they'll be sorely disappointed.

So if that's the case, do you really need that much investment there? MAYBE he's more important to the team in terms of leadership, etc I guess.
But I don't know that you can find a more talented guy to play that spot Tha berry, and he's not making many big plays there it seems. So, is it worth it |
