How would you feel if a couple and a friend met you at a bar, then came home afterwards for drinks then leaves your house and dies on the way home in the back seat of a car?

No idea man, both were texts from his close friends... one said at first he choked on his own vomit then his girlfriend said heart complications... maybe one lead to the other, who knows...

I wouldn't worry too much about the comments early in this thread. Frankly, the OP makes it sound more like a hypothetical story than a true tragedy. Once it became clear you were serious, the tone changed.

I agree with this. Most people changed their tone when they realized this was your real life we were talking about.

Severe "choking" issues can lead to respiratory distress which can lead to cardiac failure.

I was buzzed when I posted it, we all were except the DD, my wife was my DD and didn't drink until she got home... I didn't mean for it to sound like a joke, I was dazed and confused

Yeah, I'm not blaming you. Just saying to cut the jokers a little bit of slack - they probably didn't know you were serious (and they were probably drunk too).

He was a real good friend of one of my real good friends.... we have only been out with him along a couple of times but he dates another one of our good friends so he quickly became comfortable with our crowd...

Everytime I saw him he was toasted , he drank way too much and had alot of personal baggage and stress from what his closer friends told me when I was feeling really bad wondering if I contributed to his death by allowing him to drink the liquor I bought.

You can't put the blame on you, because if it wasn't your liquor he was drinking that night, it sounds like he would have been drinking somewhere else.

Hopefully some family/friends can see to it that his kids are taken care of emotionally/financially.

No way dude. He was a grown ass man. He's responsible for his own decisions. In no way did you have anything to do with his passing. None.
