Game of Thrones *Spoiler* Thread

There's been some recent confusion with the old spoiler thread, so I'm kicking off a new one for tonight's premiere. This is going to be the one for folks who've read all the books. So anything anybody might want to talk about is in bounds. Suffice to say, if you haven't read the books, you'll probably want to stay out of here until you do...

Cersei tried to make her marriage work as well. She was not as lucky in who she was married to.

By her own admission she ws porking her brother before her marriage to Robert. I think that changes that dynamic a little bit.

Uh, kind of. They experimented as children, then had one night together when they were 16. That was it until after Robert made it clear he did not care for Cersei.

Where did I say she was blameless? All I said was that she tried to make it work, which is more than Catelyn did at first, by Catelyn's own admission.

The final states of their marriages were not their doing alone, their husbands had a lot to do with it as well.

Since she's willing to hang people for crimes they didn't commit, I'm thinking she's willing to go there.

I know you guys are clinging to her resurrection being somehow vastly different than the only other similar resurrection we've seen, but I'm going to go with the evidence the books have provided, and say Stoneheart is ~95% Catelyn.

I know you guys are clinging to her resurrection being somehow vastly different than the only other similar resurrection we've seen, but I'm going to go with the evidence the books have provided, and say Stoneheart is ~95% Catelyn.

errr...no evidence in the books that she is 95% Catelyn. So far she seems to have little more than her physical body (mostly) and her dying thought -- revenge.

Your assertion that Stoneheart is 95% Catelyn is way, way, way off. I would say closer to 5%. It seems all Stoneheart has of Catelyn is a notion of who wronged her family and her only goal is retribution.

Catelyn's resurrection is very different from Beric's because she was dead for probably days before resurrection. Beric was resurrected within minutes each time and even he was slightly different. They basically said in the book that Catelyn was probably too far gone to resurrect but they did it anyway.

Beric is the only person we see resurrected the same way, and he can talk, and happens to give a pretty good explanation of it.
