Game of Thrones (spoiler-free zone)

A few have suggested it, might as well test the waters. The idea is to give people who haven't read the books a safe place to talk about the show.

A few quick ground rules:

• No Spoilers!!!!! for upcoming episodes.
• Larger Song of Ice and Fire discussion should be limited to the other thread although I think a tiny bit of book delving to fill in holes should be okay (example of this would be talking about Catelyn and her treatment of the wolves in the novel, which was alluded to on TV but never really made clear...)
• Everything that happened that week is fair game once an episode airs. So if you don't watch on Sunday night, I'd stay outta here until you do...

She's certainly pissed off at Tyrion. He was cruel to her... trying to force her to leave (for her own good).

Wife is certain she was coerced. I disagree. For me, her last line sold it: "I'm a whore, remember." The "remember" is her throwing it in his face. My 2 cents.

What Tyrion did to Shae is not unlike what Arya did to Nymeria (her wolf) after it bit Joffrey. (back in season one) Throwing rocks. Nymeria had the good sense to GTFO.

But then Lady died instead.

The last 10 seconds after he's said he wishes trial by combat are so ****ing good. Everyone with their own facial expression/response and own thoughts racing through their heads. JFC

That Tywin vs Tyrion stare though, GOD DAMN. Tywin does NOT like to be ****ing challenged like this lol.

Everything in the last 5 minutes of this show is Oscar worthy. Dinklage is a ****ing stud.

I know a little more, but the show is about to pass up what I read in the books. Fire Me Boy is a hardass about spoilers, so much so, that I couldn't properly answer his question earlier.

But also... some things have been different in the show. It's kinda cool to finally not know what to expect. (after the few key developments left that I know about.)

I have not read the books, but I am guessing it is Jaime vs. Tyrions hired body guard.

However is on Tyrions side wins, the other dies. Which if it is Jaime ends the family lineage. Which daddy might protest mid fight and sentence Tyrion to exile.

Wonder what horror is coming Shae's way.

That's a good question, about Shae. Now her secret is out, her lady has fled, she's of no further use to Tywin, and Tyrion surely isn't about to take her back. Maybe Cersi will take her in.
