The whole meaning behind Christmas is opening presents on the 25th.

When we were kids the folks let us pick out one present to open on Christmas eve. The rest of the gifts and those from Santa were opened on Christmas morning.

The kids can open one present on the 24th. Then they have to suffer through the anticipation all night. Just like I had to.

The fiance and I open on Christmas Eve and go to the mother out-law to be's house on Christmas. I miss getting up at 4:30 as a kid to see what kind of GI Joe schwag I was going to score.
