I have no idea what my weight is right now (guessing @215) but I've been killing it the last two weeks on my bike. 11 rides in the last 15 days, 10 of them over an hour. Thursday and Saturday were my two fastest all-time rides to date, with 19.972 miles Thursday at 15.4 mph and 21.077 miles on Saturday at 15.5 mph, each on a different trail miles away from the other. 15 miles today and I'll surpass 300 miles for the month.

Good news is that I jogged Monday through Thursday and Saturday last week along with playing three softball games Friday night. Bad news is that I ate like 2000 calories on Saturday. I haven't had a day like that for at least a month. I have a weigh-in for my Meltdown contest this weekend. Rain or no rain, I have to hit the pavement every day this week.

Doing strength training, yes. A few times per week. I want to lose my "angel wings" (aka arm flab). Doing some...I call it mountain climber...to try to help increase my respiratory capacity. Doing a lot of balance type of exercises now with my body ball, too.

Good. I'd recommend strength training at least three times each week and keep that diet on track. How have your results been?

Didn't do any measurements when I started, but people are really starting to notice. Coworker told me last week that I'm going to need new slacks soon for work. I'm starting to get back into clothes I wore a few years ago. I'd say I'm down 35 lbs now, but I'm not weighing until Saturday. If that's the case, I still have 50 lbs to reach my goal.

I like that. I used to just compare myself to other people in my office & think I was in better shape than them so it was cool. I had to change my mentality similar to the way you did. Once you really start seeing results you won't want to stop. Keep it up.

Pretty cool, great job! It kills me when I look back at myself when I was at a weight that was good for me, it amazes me how fat I got. Keep up the good work though, and keep your mindset right and you will keep dropping weight.
