Madden '17
Anyone getting a little excited? Seems like they have really made an effort this year.

Franchise mode is getting an overhaul according to recent news:

1. Full player editing while your franchise is progressing.



2. Coaching/FO decisions.



3. In-game ticker with live updates.



4. Practice squads.



5. New commentary team that will actually talk about things happening in your franchise.

6. Draft has been tweaked with more busts/gems.

Gameplay improvements:

1. Zone Coverage overhaul.



2. New ball-carrier special moves.

3. Real gap control on defense.

4. Real ball physics. In the past the ball would tether to a player based on ratings.

They also overhauled kicking to make it a challenge now. There's a new three-click system and weather/location will play a factor. Also, apparently on clutch kicks if the opponent "freezes" the kicker by calling a timeout the kicking meter will disappear and you have to make the kick by muscle memory. Kicks and punts can also be blocked.

How badly all of this shit is ****ed up on release remains to be seen but it does seem like they are making a big effort.

I am seriously considering buyin an xboxone for this game.

Yea.. me.. mr PCMR.

I really miss football games :/ Found a 1tb with nba 2k17 and madden 17 for 300 on craigslist brand new unopened stuff.

Think its stolen?

Probably wont pay extra for the online if I do go for it. Im doing xbox1 since there is more and more cross platform compatibility with PC

You only think in this term because consoles have subpar hardware. Both can, and have been done for well.. ever.

You're probably better off buying The next Xbox. PS4 Pro won't have 4k for every game.

The difference will be in the Frostbite engine. Fifa looks ****ing amazing. It looks next gen compared to last year.

Lower Human and CPU accuracy and run blocking. Completing 80 percent of passes got old quick. Prob is the only two times a game the ball is off target it magically sails right to the defender. The only incompletions are throwaways and drops. Human QB fumbles on 80 percent of sacks. It is still a broken game even though it's the best version in decades. Fun and bust in half frustrating at the same time. Lost an AFC title game to Robo Blaine Gabbert of the Jets against my Top 5 D.
