Not concerned about being 0-2. It's Detroit. They are a damn good team. I'm excited that we have held them to 6 runs in 2 games. The bats, however are a concern and will continue to be a concern until proven otherwise. I'd just like to see how we do against pitchers not named Verlander and Scherzer. Those two guys are a potent 1-2 punch. Let's increase the sample size before we give up hope.

It's not the two losses that bug me so much as I feel that Yost, who we just gave a ****ing extension to, played a significant role in those losses with his dinosaur age management. Every team will have close losses, but the manager should not be a factor I'm those losses. His whole job is to put the team in the best position to win each game and he failed twice now in two games and pretty epically today.

For those of you who think the world is ending because the offense has struggled for two games:

Royals - 4 runs in 2 games against two of the best pitchers in baseball.
Yankees - 3 runs in 2 games against the HOUSTON ASTROS.
Reds - 1 run in 2 games. This is a very good, playoff-caliber team.
Cardinals - 1 run in 2 games. National League Champions.
Pirates - 4 runs in 25 innings (basically 3 games) against the CHICAGO CUBS. This is a playoff team.

It's the first week of April. Offenses struggle in the first week of April. Calm down.
