Never say never a challenger sold in tulsa srt8 model 6 speed for 23k with 15k on the clocks looked mint a friend of a friend bought it. The original owner got his 4th speeding ticket in it and his wife told him if it wasn't gone the next day she was. You may be like him and be in the right place at the right time.

That being said the gtr just doesn't do anything for me I don't see the appeal.

Oh I dunno.. maybe its the AWD, underrated HP figures and outruns the Z06 in a straight line and skidpad? Pretty soon you can get a 2007/2008 with low miles for the price of a used Z06 also.

My step-dad is a big deal with Nissan. He got to test Godzilla in Vegas.

Backordered for years. I don't even think anyone besides him is even allowed to take the car out for test drives.

A tune combined with a complete engine rebuild with a bigger turbo and with a total build cost in the neighborhood of $20-30K.

Sounds like a bunch of shit that will break in no time. I would not wanna drive a 2k WHP car on the street....ever.

That number is just ridiculous. I doubt the suspension could even hook properly to make that much power worthwhile. It's not just the engine that would need some SERIOUS upgrading, it'd be the whole damn car. Im sorry, but there is just no way you can make a reliable 2Kwhp car for 30K. No way. Not happening.

I mean, sure, you can tune it to that and produce a fancy dyno sheet. But driving it around like that for daily use? Pfffff.....

We've built 1K+ HP cars here at at the shop, dyno tune them for a nice sheet, and then de-tune them down to 600-700 HP so our customers can actually drive them.

The amount of work that goes into the motor, chassis, suspension, trans, rear end etc is tremendous just to support 1K for a quick dyno run.

Yes, I can't wait to see what the Z06 and ZR1 editions of the new Vette do performance wise. I have a feeling that the ZR1 is going to come out swinging at the GTR.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it it just doesn't do "it" for me. But I'm lsx biased. And not a super car kinda guy. Beefs in the back skinnies up front and a cam that touches the oil pan.
