Most embarrasing game I have ever witnessed
You thought the Monday Meltdown was embarrasing? What does it say when a team fields a squad that refuses to let the QB thrown the ball? 3rd and long and we are running the ball, several times. Why? Because they don't trust the QB.

If that's the case then why not bench the ****er? Seriously? You basically said we don't want our QB to throw the ball but we won't bench him either.

This team completely dominated the Ravens in every aspect, except from the QB position.

You have an offense that is blowing things up on the ground and you can't take advantage of that with play action passing, there's a problem.

I'm more embarassed by the players' postgame comments acting like they played a great game. The Ravens played like dogsh*t and we basically let every opportunity to take advantage evaporate. That's not playing great, that's suckitude.

It reminded me of the 1996 season-ender at Buffalo. IIRC, a Chiefs win would've put them in the playoffs. They went in there and wouldn't let Bono do shit. It was like a high school game plan. They were terrified of letting Bono screw up.

It worked for a while -- Chiefs led 6-3 at the half, but it eventually caught up with them and the Bills pulled away for the win in the 2nd half. But I remember being incensed that they had so little confidence in the QB with a playoff berth on the line.

Bullshit. Our last two home openers were far more embarrassing. At least we were in this game. I get far more pissed off when the team is poorly prepared for the season opener. At least the defense kept us in it today.
