It depends.

if someone replaces a u with a v...nothing

if someone puts a . between an n and an i...probably a ban

if Dane does any of it nothing of course.

I don't think I understand the difference. Could you provide some actual examples?

Yes.

Once upon a time on ChiefsPlanet, there was this member who has over 60,000 posts yet none of them have any substance, pretty sure he's not a Chiefs fan, if he were to disappear one day no one would ever remember he existed...and he accomplished all of these feats while having more posts than everyone but maybe 3 members.

Congrats bro...maybe you should change your name from 'Donger' to 'Bland.'

That isn't an example of what you mentioned. Please try again. Thanks.

Just look at all the examples of filter evasion over the years.

Those all seem to warrant a ban, IMO. The rules are rather clear.

I wouldn't say that, but after whichever mod (Flop?) made a thread explaining it, sure.

This thread was clearly created by a productive member of society.

If you want to out yourself as someone who needs something better to do with their time, at least make a good thread without the whiny bitch tone.

THIS is exactly what I DON'T want people to do. Right now we are trying to WARN people then only give bans out to people who refuse to listen.

Certain people don't want to see certain words... that is why we have custom filtering. If we allow someone to type dvck instead of duck... it defeats the entire purpose. AND most importantly, it's an asshole thing to do.

Why is it an asshole thing? Because that poster is taking it upon themselves to FORCE someone else to see their words when that other person has gone to the trouble to use the system we have in place to avoid them.

That FORCING behavior is what pisses me off. It's inconsiderate and douchey.

If "bad words" bothered me I wouldn't allow them at all.. they don't bother me... but I have the decency to respect OTHER PEOPLE who may feel differently.

This concept isn't hard, you just have to think OUTSIDE your own sensibilities for a second and it should be clear why this bothers me.

TO ME, circumventing the filter is far worse than ANY petty personal attacks. If you are being attacked personally you have the option to ignore a user or man up and attack back.

So basically, that's a "no", Hootie. Furthermore, idiots who have been banned multiple times from this site don't really set policy, aren't asked to help determine policy, and will never be asked for their opinion. If you had any idea how to operate a successful community at all, there would be at least 43 regular users of TexansPlanet.com but instead, you gave it the old college try for at least 9 days and then you gave up. So let the smart people run this site and you just keep raping unconscious girls you managed to drag back to your apartment, predator.

I agree with everything in this post. 100%.

However, I will ask you about fatchatter, and ask why that didn't work?

I'm honestly just curious because I think you have the charisma and work ethic to run a great board.

as for the girls line, I don't think they've ever been unconscious...but who knows I guess?

Fatchatter worked fine. It lasted like 4-5 years. It had moderate traffic. There were still people posting on it when I shut it down last year and hadn't personally used it in 2 years.
