heard this from various media outlets


When Haley fired Chan he threw out the entire play book and brought a new one in. The media said because of this the team has no idenity and basically what was the point of the OTAs, mini camps and training camp?

You can tell that this is true by how some of the players are talking and how the play selection has been.

I heard this from the media and also ex players

I can believe this. And I'm glad he did it. If he didn't trust his coordinator after the pre-season, he should move on and do whatever he thinks he needs to do to win. If that means the offense is held back 8 games, so be it.

Gailey was retained initially at his "request".

After the first couple of preseason games, he allowed Pioli and Haley to fire him.
