Lmao Haley didn't fail because of the coaching staff (most were guys he preciously coached with). He failed because he was in over his head and lacks people skills.

I'm not really sure half of this board can bash Pioli. A good % would have Haley as the HC and Stanzi as the QB.

Haley doesn't lack people skills any more than Tom coughlin does. He was less popular because they were losing. And most losses can be blamed on a qb who absolutely sucked at executing the plays called in.

Haley didnt coach with any of the guys that were pushed onto him

he was around some of them on a Jets staff where he was some nobody assistant to nobody and had no influence or bearing on whatever anyone else was doing on that Jets team.

He never coordinated or assisted those guys from the Pats/95 Browns elite high bro clown squad club. Pioli, Weiss, Crennel, etc. All above him and pushed onto him

You are clueless. He worked with Mo Carthon, Clancy Pendergast, Muir.

You are right though Haley failed because Pioli picked Crennel and Weis. The same Crennel who made the Chiefs a top 15 defense the 2 years he worked with Haley and the same Weis who made the Chiefs a top 15 offense. How ****ing awful was it that Scott Pioli brought in 2 super bowl winning coordinators. They should have let the head coach who called a fake punt on 4th and 12 on his own 28 call the plays! Or the guy who called fora Fullback pass to his QB when they were moving the ball in opponents territory.

You're an idiot if you believe the pats won a super bowl because of romeo and Weis and not because of Brady and bellichick. Those are two decent coordinators. I promise you lots of coordinators would hate working with Weis. And Romeo's defense is obsolete and not what Haley wanted.

This post makes zero sense.

If you think for one moment that Weis and RAC aren't great coordinators in the NFL, you're wrong as all ****. They are.

Haley was a ****ing joke as a HC, and he will be again if someone is foolish enough to give him another opportunity to fail.

If it's Cowher, I would expect Omar Khan to be a strong candidate to be the GM.

Khan's been in the Steelers' front office for 11 years. Young guy, too. 35?

GM: Khan
HC: Cowher
OC: Whisenhunt
DC: Butler (if available) Maybe he can be a HC in waiting type guy. ?

I'm warming to the idea.

As much as I'd love to have Butler, I think he's already been promised the DC in Pitt once Dick leaves.

Yup. Total failure of a Head Coach. Sure, Pioli takes the brunt for hiring him, but what a boob of a coach.

I seriously don't understand it.

We gripe all day long about how no team can win without a franchise qb. Well... We had a shitty qb. And yet we found a way to be competitive with one of the worst qbs in the league. Hell.., we found a way to win or stay competitive in a few games with a shitty journeyman fourth string qb.

Romeo is coaching the same squad and they are a complete disaster. Actually with far better talent. I think that tells you that Haley was a better coach than he got credit for.

Yet, we can still rate his decisions as a Head Coach independently. The offense was absolute shit other than the mirage of a season under Wies.

Haley is nothing more than further evidence for why Pioli must be fired. I'm tired of seeing the names of each on a Chiefs board.

They had a majority of the biggest blowouts in team/Arrowhead history under that goober. They weren't "tough" at all and haven't been in any year of the Pioli regime.

How many blowouts would the packers have behind Matt cassel? This is a passing league. You don't think maybe we could have made some of those blowouts with not jus good qb play, but average qb play?

How many did the Pats have with him the year he started? He was a fraud, but they damn well did their best to mask it.
