It's Nelson Piquet Jr.'s day! The Brazilian, a former Formula One driver and the son of three-time F1 champion Nelson Sr., became a winner in his third career Nationwide start after starting the race from pole position. Piquet's extensive road racing experience paid off at the four-mile, 14-turn road course that winds through the hills of central Wisconsin.

More like Danica getting ****ed up by everyone......and she didn't deserve it. That bundle of sticksgity Villeneuve was just pissed off that he was gettin beat by a chick in a sport that he couldn't hack it in so he dumped her. Wish Tony Jr would have busted the ****in doucher in his smug face. He's a typical French-Canadian.......never come across one that I didn't want to bloody their nose.

GoHuge39: You can't argue with an opinion.
This is my opinion: Villeneuve was fighting Papis for position. It looks like Villeneuve wanted to go to the inside of Danica and didn't see Papis on the inside. Papis pushed Villeneuve in the grass right before the braking zone and once Villeneuve came off of the grass, it was impossible for him to slow down in the breaking zone. Therefore, Danica was bumped off course. It was a racing deal - or you could blame Papis. Formula 1 fan: Quote:

You're right.

Here is an interesting article by Curtis Pashelka of the Mercury News (Media News Group).
Idiot drivers result in no shortage of accidents or retaliations at Sonoma raceway Few drivers expect to go through Sunday's Toyota/Save Mart 350 without getting a little frustrated with their competitors. With so few passing zones at Sonoma raceway, double-file restarts and increased parity among drivers, there's been no shortage of accidents -- or acts of retaliation -- in recent years. "Most of the wrecks that happen here just happen from people being idiots," Jamie McMurray said. "You can't be the guy that's run 17th all day, and on the last restart expect you're going to pass six rows of cars in turn seven. That's what happens here every single year." Defending NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Tony Stewart said the increased competition level has led to more contact between cars. Last year, though, he spun out Brian Vickers in Turn 11 midway through the race. Later, Vickers retaliated by forcing Stewart's car into the tire barrier. "What causes a lot of it is just that the competition is so close," Stewart said. "With double-file restarts, we're not stringing out like we used to here. The frustration comes more on starts and restarts than it does anything." Some drivers say that emotion has helped this race become one of the most entertaining on the circuit in recent years. "It seems to be entertaining," Carl Edwards said, "because we're talking a lot about it." Sunday's race will be the first time the two will compete against each other on the Cup circuit since their exchange after last year's road course race in upstate New York. Late in the race, Said bumped into David Ragan -- Biffle's then-teammate at Roush Fenway Racing -- resulting in a crash that totaled the cars of Ragan and David Reutimann. After the race, according to witnesses, Biffle took at least one swing at Said, who was still in his car. Said got out of his vehicle and went after Biffle, who was then being guarded by his crew. Later in an interview, Said called Biffle "an unprofessional little scaredy cat" among other things and added, "he needs a whooping, and I'm going to give it to him." Biffle later tweeted, "Boris, 'the road course ringer' caused that wreck." Biffle mentioned Friday he's talked to Said on the phone but added the two have different goals for Sunday's race. Said is not a regular on Cup circuit. Biffle is third in the point standings and wants to maintain his position. "I just didn't understand where he was coming from with me being a part-time guy, and I shouldn't drive as aggressively as I can drive. But I was getting paid to do a job and I can't lay down, you know," Said told this newspaper Friday. "I have to give it 100 percent. ... So it was just one of those things where he was having a bad day and I took some of the brunt of it." http://www.mercurynews.com/other-spo...r-retaliations The funny thing is, Boris Said has spent a lot of time teaching Nascar drivers how to road race.

An excellent article on Boris Said:
"The legacy of Boris Said" Boris Said never got the full-time opportunity in NASCAR that he always wanted, but if you think he goes home to Southern California and beats himself up over it, think again. Read it here: http://www.nascar.com/news/110622/in...acy/index.html

Is it possible to have the NASCAR track pass for iPhone?
