Huard Stays In
I'm sorry. I've seen Trent Green when he's in top form. Like Damon Huard is right now. But putting Green back in the starting lineup here within a couple of weeks may be a disaster. Huard has a hot hand and you've got to play him out. Call it a quarterback controversy if you want. It's not that you must play Green. It's that you shouldn't sit Huard.

I thought maybe our QB right now with the 105.3 QB rating might be the reason LJ went from games with 36 rushing yards, 26 rushing yards to 135 rushing yards, 155 rushing yards, and 172 rushing yards...

who knows though, right?

Huard is near the bottom of the league in attempts and the attempts he does make are usually the type of thing you see when the OC is trying to manage the QB to limit mistakes.

Huard didn't go downfield often today, and when he did he twice threw it right into the arms of defenders who then luckily for us dropped it.

Believe me, I appreciate what he's done, but he's STILL no Trent Green.
