Just curious, how many "F you" messages do you get here? I have found that the more neg rep I drop, the more hatemail I get. It's actually funny stuff, what people write when they get pissed at me. It's like on one hand, nobody cares about rep but when they get some they get exremely upset about it.
Has that been the same for any of you? How much hate mail do you get and if you do, how much of it is tied to the rep you give?

I'm asking more about the private messages, do people actually sit down and write you hatemail via messaging?

Oddly enough, I don't get very many hateful PMs or rep comments. Perhaps I'm like the crazy homeless person that you don't want to make eye contact with. Of course, I don't generally give negative reps (mostly retalatory or to complete morons) and never send hateful PMs.

I like to keep my hatred out in the open for all to see.

Hey ROY, you get a pass on the sig bet this year. Wont be able to do our annual bet anymore as odds are good my hiatus from the Mane is now permanent after the words I just had with Taco.

As for hateful PMs, I get them at the OM a lot but Im an asshole.

Never gotten hate mail for neg reps. I have gotten them saying that I'm stupid, but I'm pretty used to that on here. The thing that gets me anymore is the retaliatory neg rep. Whatever. I'm surprised anyone cares enough.

I have pm'd one person to stop with neg rep comments. Not necessarily the neg rep itself, though. When they didn't, I contacted a mod, because the subject matter was very inappropriate. When they continued, I put them on ignore. Problem solved.
