I have Polk speakers at home, they're the best for home audio imho.
Have French Focal speakers in my Jeep up front, Polks in the back doors.
Alpine head unit in dash with a external 6 disc CD/MP3 disc changer.

The crazy thing is I usually listen to AM radio in the car. Go figure.

What's your opinion of them?

To be honest, others opinions really dont matter. It's your opinion that matters. If you have to count on others opinion for the sound you like, then go cheap. You'll just be pissing your money away. The higher end stuff all has it's own sound. All pretty good....but different. There really is only one way to find out what's best for you.
