***College Football 2012 Bowl Thread***
The CFB Bowl selections are tonight, 8:30 on ESPN.

Reason I started this thread... New York Times' Pete Thamel is reporting that a source tells him Northern Illinois slipped into the top 16 and will play in the Orange Bowl against Florida State. ESPN's BCS guru Brad Edwards says he thinks NIU is in too.

Either way, bowl selections are starting to leak this afternoon.

Florida wasn't overrated. Saying so only diminishes what Louisville accomplished. Florida played one of the toughest schedules in the country, had 1 loss, beat 3 top-10 teams. Louisville was just the much better team tonight. Better coached, played better, didn't make as many mistakes, and whipped Florida's ass. Period.

Coach Strong coached at Florida on 3 separate occasions for a total of 16 years. He knows the players, staff, security.
