I forget exactly what it was, but someone posted some EXTREMELY damning stats on the guy back when the disappointment was still fresh... like I say, I dont remember exactly what it was, but it sure wasnt good.
And his kickoffs are pure junk... he may not be the worst ever, but there certainly isnt anything special about him, either. |

The most important thing is whether or not he has a hot wife.

But that's about all I can really find wrong with him. Who gives a shit about his kickoffs, either? He doesn't have a Janikowski leg, but he consistently puts them in the end zone. How many times did teams run back a kickoff beyond their own 30 this season? I can probably count the number of times on one hand. |

Like to add that he came back the next week after the missed kick and made 3 out of 3 kicks that went right down the middle.
2 of those were from beyong 40 yards.

He's a middle of the road guy in my opinion. We can do better. But its not priority number 1 considering our cap situation.

Succop has never had a rut. His kicking percentage has always been adequate or good. There's no reason why John Dorsey should waste time this offseason actively trying to replace Succop. |

The only two times that a team should be worried about a kicker is either when he's specifically losing multiple games for you or when you're a SB caliber team and there is a significant upgrade available.
