I should add that I am not necessarily a McCluster hater. The guy is having a good year, certainly better than I thought he would. That drop today was gut wrenching - he should have dropped and gave the coaches twenty for that one.
I've caught a few K-State games this year, and Lockett is just a playmaker on a team that doesn't have many. I could see him being the Dex option in this offense easily, and it doesn't hurt that he seemingly has better hands and speed. Like I said, just bored speculation. Typing out loud if you will. |

2 problems:
1) he's a junior. 2) Lockett has injury issues. Has not made it through an entire college football season yet. He's a great talent for a slot receiver. Amazing hands and great speed and quickness, runs great routes. Better return abilities than McCluster. Just need to see him stay healthy and he could be dangerous. |

* He runs great routes and has a knack for creating just enough seperation to get to the ball
* He's quick, but not track star fast * He has phenomenal hands * He's smart and a great student of the game * If the ball is near him, he always comes down with it - especially in the endzone. * As P-90 Rex states, he does have an issue with injuries. He's not a big kid, and the injuries would be my biggest concern in the NFL

Yes, except the injury issues. If that issue is resolved, dude could be a great mid/late round pickup (4th/5th) in 2015.
