Keep in mind that you're a novice lifter for a longer period of time than you think you are. Novice lifting can last anywhere from a few months to a year or two, depending on how hard you hit the weights and where you started.

Once you've reached the point where you don't make regular progress on the SS program, you are ready to move on to the intermediate stage, which can last you for a good number of years. Find it HERE:

If you're a very advanced lifter (many, many years of CONSISTENT weight training), then there are lot of programs out there, and which one you pick is simply a matter of preference. If you're really that advanced, you should know what works for you and what doesn't by this point.

I look at it like this. The best time that I can schedule a workout is at 5:30 in the morning. My main problem is dragging my ass out of bed. If I can get up at 5:30...pound some preworkout and be working my ass off in 5-10 minutes....I'm happy.

I never said they were bad.

I've only ever tried one because my boss insisted. I'm not sure anymore but I want to say it was C4 or Jacked or whatever. Shit had like 3 cups of coffee worth of caffeine. I had a great workout but I prefer to just do the natural thing.

The only time I took a pre workout I got stuck at a red light before turning into the gym parking lot. My face started tingling. It was kind of scary.

Sometimes I'll pop a caffeine pill if I'm super tired, but usually no. I don't find them effective, and the ones with stuff besides caffeine make my heart feel weird.
