I also gave it a pretty extensive drive... It's tight, you barely even hear the coffee cups clink against each other at highway speeds..

Question, do you need a special drivers license to drive it?

I'd like to have one of those, but haven't taken the time to figure out the cost tradeoff of purchase and fuel and parking fees versus just getting a hotel.

No, but good lord, there should be for those 43' Class A diesel monsters. I've seen old ****s attempt to drive one off the lot and run it into a stop sign. Those things had me puckered when I'd drive 'em to a show or something.

I like sleeping in my bed also... A bed that I know is clean with clean sheets and comforter + no bed bugs I have nice lakes and places to go within a 50 mile radius and I am only 200 miles from the beach. Some electric hookup spots can be had for 15 bucks a night... Go to Myrtle Beach with a dog and after taxes you will drop 200 per night easy unless you want to go to a roach motel. |

I think boat operators should have to have a special license here too... We just had a young pregnant woman and son die on a pontoon after a speed boat hit them on High Rock lake here.

I honestly don't understand the appeal of RV's.

Here, I'll make you feel better. See that black lock plate on his entry door? ONE company makes those for almost every RV on the road. And there are about 30 different key sets. So, you're sittin' there at the campground surrounded by 50 or 100 or 200 other units, and the odds are, well, you're a math guy...
That probably didn't sway you, I guess. |

They're just too damned expensive (both price and cost of ownership) for me to understand the value proposition. |
