If your bored....1995 Chargers vs Chiefs OT MNF replay
Maybe to help cheer up the mood around here.
-Oct 9, 1995 Chargers and Chiefs fans will forever remember Vanover from his 86-yard punt return in overtime against San Diego in a Monday Night game in Kansas City. 29-23 What a game indeed, I think this has to top the list. Just go to www.kcchiefsgames.com ....then click on "LiveWire". Click "Enter" then a password window will pop up. The password is "chargers95". You must be using Internet Explorer browser. I will be looping it so enjoy -Oct. 31, 1999 - BrandsMart awarded customers a total of $425,000 when the Kansas City Chiefs held the San Diego Chargers scoreless in their Oct. 31, 1999 game at Arrowhead Stadium. 34-0 -Sept. 17, 1998 Ryan Leaf went 1-of-15 for four yards with two interceptions at Arrowhead and never has been the same since. Chiefs win 23-7 -Dec 24 2005 SanDiego Chargers 20-7 -Oct 17 1993 at San Diego. Montana coming back from 17 down. Got a concussion on the game winning TD. He never saw the TD but still had his arms up in the air like he always does. That was an outstanding comeback. Last edited by C-Mac; 10-18-2006 at 06:24 PM.. |

The Ryan Leaf game was back in 98. He went 1 for 16 for 4 yards and KC won 23-7. It was raining most of the day for that game and SD's only TD came on a long run by Natrone Means.
That 42-10 game was in 2000 and that was the game that Sylvester Morris caught 3 TD's. The 34-0 Brandsmart game in the 99 season was pretty sweet. The game in 93 when we were down 17-0 and came back and won 28-24 was pretty memorable as well. The SD game that still pisses me off is that game back in 94 when we dominated the whole game and ended up blowing a 13-0 lead and losing 14-13. Montana drove us into FG range at the end of the game but couldn't get the ball spiked in time. |

I was in error....
Chiefs defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham always has a few unfamiliar tricks ready for rookie quarterbacks. He concocted some things for Chargers rookie Ryan Leaf for a 1998 game at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs gave Leaf such a beating that it might have set the tone for his dismal career. -KCStar 2 weeks ago |

Is there a reason Al Michaels sounds like Darth Vader?
