Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

The quad I ordered should be delivered today. It will be interesting to see if I can actually install it by myself.

If the quad you have is just a replacement for the hand guards it is a snap. If you went with a free float system it is a little more work.

It's a replacement, but I'm not exactly mechanically inclined. Nor do I have a workbench or a vise. I'll probably need an extra set of hands to hold the delta ring down while I remove the old stuff and install the new stuff.

Tip: Just work on one side at a time, compress the delta ring for either the right or left and pop off that side of the hand guard. Repeat for the other side. Do the same when replacing.

LOL, I tried to take the quad off my Sig just to see if I could do it in case the need ever arises. I gave up after about 10 minutes of struggling and my hand bleeding in 2 places. **** that.

Maybe it's just my military background but I've never had a problem removing hand guards or quads.

I am going to the Gun Show in Tulsa this Weekend.

Is anyone else going? It's the largest in the world, so there will be gallons of drool dripping from my mouth.

Been there before. Its huge. Gotta work this weekend and can't make it. Bad ass show though.

I used to go every once in while when I lived there. Now that I have a little coin in my jean it could get interesting.

No doubt it will probably get very interesting. A person could spend alot of cash in a hurry in there. Last time I was down there was around 3 years ago.
