Not "Mods" but "Mobs?" WTF

Check out this link.

http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/group...oupid=35&pp=10

I stumbled upon the link above today as I keep getting blocked from draft threads for abuse by ChiefsCountry (I think?). This is a social group called "The Mob" that's sole purpose is to target noobs and drive them away. They basically just try and force them out deciding who stays and who goes like a moderator. They are basically wannabe mods imo.

Here are some of the members:

1. ChiefCountry
2. Bosschief
3. Sorter
4. PGM
5. DJ's Left Nut
6. DaneMcCloud
7. HemiEd
8. Possibly SAC
9. Possibly Aussiechief

It would be in your best interest to see if you are or were on their hit list. A lot of these guys pretty much try to "run" the place. Are you older posters OK with this? Is this condoned? If so, why even invite noobs into the place? It ain't right.

All I know is that all the theories of weird mob like mentality aren't an accident around here. It's 100% true. I don't think anyone has a problem with Noob hazing including the noobs themselves.

These guys are serious assholes and the deck is stacked against a lot of people after one post. I just thought I would bring it up because I doubt most of you are aware of it.

The only original football takes you have are ****ing horrible, with no better proof than an avatar from being perhaps the first imbecile to actually lose a bet to gochiefs.
This whole entire post is worthless and ignorant.

I'm glad I have another puppy dog though.

Roll over.

actually, i was new to the net and mb's and did all sorts of shit that should have got me banned about a hundred times but a lot of folks encouraged me and gave me the lowdown on basic net/mb behavior...

but nobody except skip ever tried to run me off and all he could do was piss and moan and neg rep people, which is hardly fatal...

once i got acclimated, i've had a pretty enjoyable experience here at cp but i don't offer many football takes...

actually, i hang out in dc after i check out the main board but the football threads are beyond excellent almost without exception...

welcome aboard bone and tony, don't let the bastards get you down and by all means post whatever comes to mind, except poop threads, i don't enjoy poop humor but then i'm older...

we now return to our regular programming...

I'd love to if I wasn't banned from the Senior Bowl thread for "abuse" by big country or ChiefsCountry (whatever his name is?). I like reading everyone's take on draft picks.

Skip Towne was one of my biggest supporters when I first got here, oddly enough.

He still sends me PMs from time to time.

Miss America Pageants are going to be reformed. They're including an extra round now-- the Sorterwear round. Each contestant puts on her Sorter costume and talks about the Wide 9 while beating a n00b off with a crowbar. Points are awarded for style, quality of the answers, elegance of form, and accuracy/beauty/presentation of the Sorter costume.

The only reason this isn't a complete embarrassment to those involved, is the fact that the poster who exposed it is unpopular.

It's just silly as hell that adults would behave this way, IMO. "The ****ing MOB" Seriously? Are we 12 years old?

"The ****ing MOB" can neg rep the shit out of me... don't care.

This is some of the silliest shit I've ever seen on this site.

No one cares. Skip was a deranged asshole that the majority of posters were glad to see go.

People look back on him with nostalgia, but in truth his act was long played out.

I mean, I guess I could support this. I want royalties though.
