How was his speech? I didn't get to see it.

And I'll add again how annoying it is to see Jerome Bettis get in with his 3.9 average. The media guys are all excited for him because he's their buddy, and that's the only reason he got in. I'm pretty sure that Rich Eisen will go in next year.

The Hall rewards career longevity. It also took him several years to get in.

They might as well have just held this thing in Pittsburgh tonight. The crowd looked like it was 95% Steelers.

It's like a drive from KC to Columbia.

I want to go if Otis Taylor gets in & maybe when Tony Gonzalez goes in.

God I wish Roethlisberger missed that tackle....

Nevertheless, glad to see Will get in. Well earned and extremely grateful to have been able to watch a master at the craft play for the red and gold.

When I saw Mick Tinglehoff of the Vikings go in, I couldn't help thinking about Otis Taylor. It took the HOF 37 years to put Tinglehoff in. His family arranged to have Fran Tarkington speak for him, because Mick's brain is scrambled from football head trauma, and he can't remember names and dates and such. If they would have put him in years earlier -as it should have been- the man could have spoken for himself. Sad.

Otis Taylor's health has been terrible for a long time. I doubt he could make the trip to Canton now. I'm sure they'll give him his due after he's gone. Which is also sad. Taylor not being in Canton is as egregious as Buck O'Neil not being in Cooperstown as an enshrinee. Just a travesty.

This is a great video. Shields and the other guys really seemed to love that 2003 offense.

If you don't watch this entire video then just do yourself a favor and take a look at the Priest Holmes screen at 00:18. Shields is 50 yards down field blocking.
