The Mystery of the Defensive Holding Call Against Scandrick...

Has anyone seen this? 810 asked both Teicher and Mellinger if they saw it or saw a replay of it and both said they have not.

Such a critical penalty without a single replay leaves one to question the legitimacy of the Officiating.

Scene:
It's a nationally televised game. The Steelers who have a large following, nationwide, are at home coming off a piss-poor showing against the lowly Cleveland Browns.

They find themselves down 21-0 with several minutes left to go in the 1st quarter when Justin Houston forces a strip-sack and Chris Jones recovers the fumble for a TD. Chiefs 28, Steelers 0 still time left in the 1st quarter.

The NFL can sense televisions across the country changing channels. So here comes a flag on a play totally away from the ball that no one has yet to see. "Holding, defense. 5 yard penalty, automatic 1st down".

The Steelers are pulled from the brink. Fans keep their tvs on the game to see if they score. Crisis averted for the NFL.

No one has seen the penalty save the guy who called it apparently. Not one single replay. Such a game changing penalty and not one replay.

Yeah, something isn't stirring the Kool-Aid on this....

That is exactly what it is...their huge fan base helps them. I think the only time an owner screwed his teams ability to get calls when was Al Davis pissed off the league because at one time they were good for the NFL.

If not, this will be the 11tybillionth example of the NFL manipulating games.

Officials are not this incompetent. It’s impossible.
It's possible that one day that manipulation will benefit us, that's bad that that is where we are.

Our time is coming folks Mahomes is marketable and if he keeps this up. We’re gonna get the NFL to cheat for us. And it’s gonna be fun hosing over fans that have enjoyed shutting in ya for decades.

Do you think it is some miracle that since Ray Lewis stopped playing the Ravens turned into a marginal playoff team?

They don't get calls anymore.

There will be footage of it when the All 22 is out in a few days. We'll have to get someone to post it like was mentioned before.

Marketing. Plain and simple.

Mahomes has what the NFL wants. Alex did not.

NFL cheating for us is coming soon.

Yep,and think of this,Vegas also puts out 2nd half lines at halftime so bettors can lay more cash down. You think for a minute that comeback and 21-21 tie at the half didn't have bettors lined up taking Pitt in the 2nd half.

I'm sure that'll be the case. They'll look at us one day - probably soon - and say "They're great for business. That offense is exciting to watch. New England and Pittsburgh are long in the tooth. Let's finally pull the dick out of Kansas City's collective colons and make them our featured shining stars!"

But if that's the case who really gives a shit? If they fix the outcomes even just a little bit I really don't give two fairy ****s who "wins" or who "loses".

If it's true and there's real hard evidence that proves it beyond a reasonable doubt to even the most staunch non-conspiracy fan, they better bury that shit as deep as they can. Because I know there are a lot of fans like myself that would drop the NFL like a hot potato if that is discovered.

A few others have mentioned this already in game chat, but WHY is one of our players or coaches not showing a little bit of passion to the refs after something like that? Andy Reid shows no emotion on anything ref related. The only players that have shown any type of emotion is Kelce and Peters. Sometimes a penalty is worth calling the refs out on their stupid shit.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

We NEVER get those calls.

But somehow when we’re playing teams like the Pats/Steelers/Colts guys like Kelce and Gonzalez get called for that shit.

Do you ****ing remember Andre Johnson pushing off on Flowers? It’s always been that way.

So the rule is the whole body has to be across the LOS right? Because dumbshit Fouts and his butt buddy didn't know that.

That's such a dumb rule. I say if the ball crosses the LOS it should be an illegal forward pass. The location of the ball is how everything else in football is gauged so why can a QB be a yard past the LOS but "oh but his back foot was still behind it". It's stupid as ****. I've always felt that way.
