Probably would be ruled "uncatchable" then flag the Chiefs for "unnecessary bitching".

Hard to win when you are playing against two teams.

My favorite part was when the DID call the pats for a PI....a random offsetting flag appeared late.
The refs definitely didn't hurt the Pats chances at the W, but in reality....the Chiefs offense could have scored 7's instead of some 3s in the first half, thrown a couple of less INTs that left really short fields....and the Defense could have made 1 punt....one. |

Aaron Hernandez was flagged for more murders than the Pats were obvious holding non calls.

A random thought came into my head about the Speaks play... How many defenders in the NFL don't drag down the QB in that situation? Yeah, there was a flag thrown however if Brady is running, there can't be holding (or I don't know the rules). Brady could have fumbled or gotten injured. If it were Mahomes, would the defender have been thinking about it?
Not specific to the Patriots, the rules concerning the offense and when/where/how a defense can tackle the quarterback have become unfair. It rewards bad line play and quarterbacks that stand like a statue in the pocket. Football is becoming unrecognizable to me. |

I'm not going to complain about the officiating for this game. Both sides got away with a few penalties. There was a very blatant block in the back on Smith's long kickoff return. What I'm trying to figure out is how we end up playing at Pittsburgh and at NE nearly every time. Isn't that supposed to rotate? Wewon the division the past 2 years and played the Pats there both times. I just looked at the future scheduling for next year. We play the same place finisher of the AFC East away. Assuming that the Chiefs and Pat's win their division, that's 3 years straight at New England. Where is the rotation?? 2020 we get NE at home. 2021 we get AFC East same place finisher at home. But will Brady even be playing then? Doubtful. And if he is, how good will he be? Hopefully we get them at Arrowhead in the playoffs. Because it's not happening anytime soon in the regular season.
