Anyone else noticed how organizations go down the crapper once he leaves?

I dunno... the Browns sucked from 81 to 85 (.500 that season), then they had 3 good seasons. Marty leaves, they win 9 games and suck again.

Redskins were 8-8 when Marty took them over, took them to 8-8 the next year and then Spurrier took over and they continued to suck until 'minimal' success last season.

Whole lotta nothin' with this thread, IMO.

LT was a Charger 'prior' to Marty being the coach and thanks to two nice draft trades involving Vick & Eli (different seasons) they parlayed those guys into several nice players for SD.

I don't know how much influence Marty had on those trades, but ... those two deals built the Chargers to what you know today. Marty is only as good as LT makes him.
