What is the knock on Brady Quinn?

Why is Brady Quinn a bad qb? I confess, I don't watch much college sports, and hardly pay any attention to the Cleveland Browns, so I don't really know what he can do. What I do know is that he has a pretty strong arm, was drafted in the first round, and has had time to mature, albeit holding a clip board. 13 games is low sample size in my opinion. I am pretty sure alot of quarter backs who have turned out to be pretty good didn't play well or having wining records in their first year or two. I don't know, it just seems like all the media guys are really down on this kid, and it seems he has not had much of a chance in Cleveland, and/or backing up Tebow who was Denver first round pick. Some of those guys on 610 and 810 have very narrow views, and shady agendas. They say all the fans are mad about this or that, and everybody calls in and goes yeah! fire this guy and fire that guy and the masses by into a bunch of hype men on the radio. I am going to wait to form my own judgements and to see if Quinn guy can play and win us some motha****in games.

I saw cassel hang receivers up to dry, or die for 4 weeks

Most people just love to hate. He's started one game for us and he's the worst QB since Cassel.

He was Cassel before he started one game in KC...

Jesus people do you ever look at stats, history, reports? Or do you just cock holster any player in Red and Gold?

Quinn is what he is, a well below average 1st round bust QB.. He is Akili Smith and Tim Couch rolled up into one.

I am not so quick to buy into the "bust" label. The dude hasn't started many games and the ones that he did start were with the Browns who had NO weapons to help out a rookie QB. He has a lot of potential that has not been properly developed. Hell McNabb had a strong arm and was inaccurate as shit but took his team pretty far under the right guidance of Andy Reid. It isn't always the QB's fault for his successes or failures. I for one hope that Quinn succeeds. He has a lot of weapons to include a legitimate running game. If he fails here it is going to be because he has the same POS head coach he had in Cleveland backed up by a POS OC that can't draft an offensive plan to suit his strengths.

Establish the running game and then run some play action passes to draw in the safeties and give this guy some passing lanes. If the OC can do that (I have my doubts) then I don't see how Quinn cannot be a successful QB in the NFL.

It just amazes me how most don't have an original thought in their head and just ****in regurgitate what they hear on the radio. Brady quinn is a bust, he can't do it. For **** sake he has only played in 13 games. How can you have these concrete conclusions so fast. Most likely none on this board has seen al 13 games and are just reading stats or being a damn paraet. What's the point of being a fan if all you see is despair?
