Ban Rambozo/Blackbob?

We haven't done this in a long time but it's time for you guys to decide.

We don't think he's necessarily breaking rules but he seems to be annoying a lot of people. 51% decides his fate (3rd option is an "abstain" so it will be majority between options one and two). I'm gonna let this thing run until 10:00 PM on Monday.

He's the worst type to try that with. Universal iggy screwed up the paging in our software, so someone who posts a ton would make it really tough on everyone else.

Honestly, I don't think I've ever read any of his posts until everyone started quoting him and arguing with him. If someone is in the red in rep I scroll right past it till I get to a green poster.

I'm late to this party, but I'm amazed that we might actually have a group consensus to ban someone who hasn't technically broken any rules. Usually people are pretty tolerant, so it says a lot that BlackBob has annoyed people enough to warrant this.

It's probably been said in the thread, but he's never had "mults" per se - he just comes back after we ban him. Sometimes we notice and kill it early, and sometimes he sticks around long enough that we let him stay for a bit.

As for why we haven't just called him an official "permaban" and not let him back at all, it's mostly because even the original ban was just because he was obnoxious. We made an exception because we were all universally annoyed by him, but it's tough to justify that long-term when the poster isn't really doing anything "against the rules."

Sorry for the rant. TL;DR - **** him.

This poll isn't just for us. It's also for him. It demonstrates loud and clear that he's not wanted here. Sometimes there are reasons for my unorthodox methods that I don't particularly want to divulge out on the open forum. We're not always going to use the very same tactic each time we scrub this site of somebody. It depends on the personalities, their persistence, and technical where-with-all among other things.
