Who is anticipated to be available? I know it's impossible to know for sure.

I know Joe Flacco's going to get franchised. Do you see any on this list that you'd like to see with the Chiefs next year?

Matt Moore (QB)
Tarvaris Jackson (QB)
Reggie Bush (RB) Franchised?
Felix Jones (RB)
Shonn Greene (RB)
Danny Woodhead (RB)
Greg Jennings (WR) Franchised?
Mike Wallace (WR)
Wes Welker (WR)
Danny Amendola (WR) Can't imagine Rams letting him go.
Tony Gonzalez (TE) Yeah, I know.
Brent Grimes (CB)
Ed Reed (S)

Also, a lot of people think Ray Lewis is going to get cut this offseason.

I know there's a lot more there.

My plan would be to re-sign Bowe/Albert and make a push for one of the other WR's. I'd also be interested in Lewis to help lead our defense. But I'm just throwing stuff out there right now.

Why expect different in 2013...... SERIOUSLY.

Waste of time IMO.
Because the spending floor goes into effect in 2013. That's why.

I believe it's a four year average (89% of salary cap, I believe), so technically teams can go well under that in one year if they want--but it comes out to spending an average of at least $107M of $120M per year (adjust for annual increases) over four years.

So, yes, I think it's safe to say that we'll be spending more money in future years...

Stay away from the high priced FAs. Most have already given the best they have.

How 'bout we finally quit pinching pennies and prepare this offense for a franchise QB?

That be cool?

We've been pinching pennies for years...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

We need to quit screwing around with these slow ass power backs, and just get another balanced, or quick back. Felix Jones has some fumblitis, but I'd take him in a heart beat to be Jamaal's back up. On 3rd and 1 we just let Geno do his thing.

However, I get pretty excited to think about the possibility of Ed Reed and Eric Berry patrolling the secondary. This all of course is assuming they stay healthy an entire year.

Jennings won't be back in GB. They have a lot of negotiating to do with others. With Cobb, Nelson and Starks I don't see them franchising GJ. They'll also draft someone in rounds 3-5 that will emerge as a stud like they always do.

Isn't Jennings the love child of Croyle and Moeaki? Seems like he's always hurt.

Unfortunately for Geno, I shutter to think that he'll only have Baldwin, McCluster and a 3rd rate WR via free agency (Breaston type) to throw to next year.
Bowe walks, Wallace stays in Pit, Jennings signs with someone like NE while Welker ends up playing for the Cedar Junction Keisters after cops raid his computer and find some very questionable material.
That's my prediction.

Bah, Humbug.
