The Motorcycle Discussion Thread
I figure there are some motorcycle guys/gals on CP, so I thought we could have a place to talk all things Motorcycles.
Tire Mount and Balance Prices (as of 10/29/16) Prices based on if you remove the wheels yourself and bring the wheels and new tires with you: Cycle Gear - $35 per wheel if you buy tires from them. $58 per wheel if you buy tires elsewhere Rawhide - $65 per wheel (assuming it would be the same at other HD dealers. they book it at 1/2 hr per wheel) C R Cycle Tires (DeSoto) - $30 per wheel Cheapest I've found my Michelin Commander II's. Seem like they have good prices on other brands too. http://www.jakewilson.com - Free 3 day shipping on orders over $75 Last edited by Dayze; 10-29-2016 at 09:02 PM.. |

A picture of my ankle and fairing. I've taken it off the bike, and it feels really weird.

I never ride with a big group. Just never been interested in that, I guess. Most I ever ride with is 3 or 4 friends. After hearing your story, I'll probably stick to that.

take out that one word, and the same reasoning has probably been used by serial killers.

Any of you fine gentleman (or ladies) looking to buy a motorcycle in the spring or even this winter..I'm looking at selling my Road King Classic (Betty)
If anybody is interested I will break down what it is and all that is done to the bike..just curious I would rather sell to one of you guys than trade it in..I will even throw in some beer and an air freshener for your Camaro |

Yeah, it took a few days to walk right, but once I got the good news on the xrays, I pushed myself, and I'm at about 80% now. Hell, I rode my bike the day after, just to prove I could.

God dam!
This bike is giving me such a boner! They really beefed this Scrambler up to be a true off road machine. Same proven motor, extra travel. Wet Weight of 450lbs. Looks easy to throw around. I think this is heads over the Triumph Street Scrambler...and I am a Brit Motorcycle guy. My wife says just get it over with and trade in the Triumph for a Ducati. I say why not have a little Brit and a little Italian in you life. http://scramblerducati.com/en/bike/desert-sled |
