NFL Preseason Week 2 - Bears @ Broncos
Finally get a chance to watch an interesting matchup on tv, FOX 8pm

Really looking forward to this one, it'll be a great chance to scout the donks...I'm particularly interested in seeing Chubb, Keenum and Kelly

And for the first time in roughly three decades, I kinda care about the Bears again, they have some very interesting weapons in Allen Robinson, Howard, Cohen and Trubisky... I hope Nagy puts some spice back in that shitburger

This is a really bad Broncos team, fellas. Bottom 5 at many positions. No game changing, young, ascending talent like Reek, Hunt, and Mahomez...etc

Watched a little of it & they are terribad.

Chase Keesum is awful. That Chubby guy looked lost. I’d be surprised if they won 6 games this year.

I agree with you for the most part here BUT you have to give him props for the 2ndary. They have done pretty well in the draft these past few years in getting decent DBs.

And that manning move only got them two SB appearances and just one SB ring. Though it was mainly the defense he built with the DC he hired that won that one. I’m still waiting for Denver to accomplish something under Elway.

Congrats, Elway used the 2nd pick of the draft in 2011 where the talent was loaded and any dumbass GM picking in the top ten regardless of intellect knew they were going to get someone valuable.

Mind you, horse face passed on drafting J.J. Watt (3 time defensive player of the year) for Von Miller (0 time defensive player of the year).

How many Super Bowl mvp awards does Watt have? There’s plenty to criticize in Elway’s drafting but criticizing the Miller pick is reeruned.

Manning should have never been allowed to play a down. Illegal performance enhancements aren't supposed to be allowed. He also brought in those free agents and the proof is in how bad their off-season are after he retired.

If Pioli had been able to sign Manning here in KC Elway would have been fun out of Denver in shame just like Pioli was here.

One day you’ll see it. I know Denver has been consistently good under your old owner. Having a shit front office, shit coaching staff and an owner still trying to figure out what the F to do is new territory for you.

In the same way having a shiny new franchise QB who looks the part paired with a solid front office and a great coaching staff is new terrotitory for us in KC.

I imagine it’s true of most GMs that, if they didn’t make their best personnel moves, they wouldn’t be good GMs.

When your best personnel move is getting a HOF QB in free agency, that’s about as easy and rare as it gets.

That took no real evaluation or skill, just a little persuasion. That couldn’t have been too hard either seeing as they’re both members of the all-time great QB fraternity.
