Need some help with prayers
I'm not much for prayers myself, but my one of my wife's nephews has died tragically. His parents are very religious and I know they would appreciate your prayers and your good thoughts.

My dear wife could use prayers as well. Death is never easy to bear but it is so much more gut-wrenching when it's a young man with his whole life ahead of him. He leaves a widow and two very young sons.

Lord, I confess unrighteousness in the way I use my tongue and my keyboard to express inappropriate thoughts that I should instead ask you to remove. I ask forgiveness so you can hear my prayer tonight for go bowe's family.
You alone know why this has happened. We trust your wisdom, but we need your mercy now. We ask that you draw near us in our confusion, pain, sorrow and anger. We ask for strength until we can find peace. We ask for hope in the midst of seeming hopelessness.
For go bowe and his wife, we ask that they would be specially equipped now to shepherd their loved ones through this tragic time. For their nephew's wife, we ask for healing for her and for multiplied courage as she mothers her young sons in the days, weeks and years to come. For her boys, we ask that they forgive you for the pain they will experience in so many different, elusive and unpredictable ways.
