Just did my first workout, since a few months ago probably.
Started off weak, a few reps of weights and jogged about a mile. But it's a start.

BTW, holy ****ing shit Buck! That's incredible. Still no gym, just food choices and keto has done that for you? We need to talk. I like food, if I can hit the gym and kill it while in keto that sounds great. Is this for life for you, or are you transitioning back to the deliciousness of potatoes and pasta?

I'm going to look into it. I don't know if I want to do it for life. So I don't know if it's good for me, I've heard there is a "golden shot" your first time around. What I do know is the body will shed like a mother****er for 3 months as it's going into shock, then it will adjust and weight loss becomes a bit more difficult. I want to slay those 3 months in whatever manner is necessary.

My wife is a vegetarian, so pasta was one of our staples. We now have it, maybe, once a week. I made a pretty amazing pasta substitute this week, though. Cooked up some gigantes beans (they're huge and potato esque), did a bunch of tomatoes, garlic, and basil to finish. It was close to eating gnocchi. Pretty awesome.
I know they're not much better, probably, from a keto standpoint, but we eat the hell out of sweet potatoes still. We don't touch "regular" potatoes except for the occasional chip or fry, though.

Keto is a good idea if your considered obese. Other than that calories out and in is all that matters. Nothing wrong with potatoes or rice every night, as long as calories are in check.

Do we have to be technically obese? Or can we just want to lose fat in certain places?
