Options at Safety this offseason
Yeah, I'm still pissed off at Lewis. Like everyone else, I can't wait to see his sorry ass off this team. But looking forward, who can we replace him with?

Haha Clinton-Dix is the only real option in the draft, and he'll be gone by our pick.

I'd also like to add that if we end up getting knocked out in the first round, I don't think it's completely out of the question that Dix makes it to the 21st pick.

It's possible.

I've mentioned this a couple times, but it deserves repeating...if haha falls to the teens and someone is willing to trade down, I'd be all for trading a 2015 third rounder to move up and take him. We should get a comp pick to replace that third with, anyway for Albert being a Dolphin next year.

Getting a coverage free safety in this defense that can help defend the longer passes and doesn't get eaten alive by play action would really help. We might be 13-2 right now if we had 1 more competent safety.
