I might cry if the Rams lose in Seattle in Week 17.

You went from worst team in the league to the cusp of the playoffs in one year, you can't cry for that.
Losing the Super Bowl is when it's ok to cry. Or having an idiot kicker miss and miss and miss and then lose in the first round of the playoffs when you're the best team in the league. |

Why would you want to make the playoffs? You'll be destroyed. I never want that again. I'd rather not make it at all.

I'd rather get in the playoffs and have a chance at advancing than not making it. Once a team is in the playoffs, anything can happen. It would also shut the Rams haters up.

Heh. Not really. A team as bad as the Rams is going to get stomped by any of the other NFC reps. Same goes for the Chiefs. I think the best draw the Chiefs could hope for is the Jags but even then I wouldn't put money on them.

I don't care about the result of the game. If they win, great. If not, that's fine. I just want to see a team that went 1-15 the past year and who hasn't been in the playoffs since 2004 to finally play in a game around the middle of January. I don't want anyone saying, "The Rams are close, but they need another draft." That might be true, but when you have a shot at the playoffs, you don't sacrifice your draft position for a playoff game. Also, remember, in 2004, the Rams became the first 8-8 team to make the playoffs and win a game.

I couldn't disagree more with this. I know that Indy game was awful, but it's still better than not making it. Plus, I honestly think this team would perform better than that one on coaching alone if nothing else.
