It's good that Baldwin is getting a full dose of learning the offense.

I'm really hope that the teaching of the offense is better with Daboll than it was with Haley.

He'll do it once in a blue moon.

It is startling, he really does have an arm. He just doesn't do shit with it.

Yeah, he's a good sized guy, it cant be that he doesnt have the basic strength, he can heave it, he's good enough to get it in the general vicinity downfield, but its usually not at all accurate, his highlight reel if one were found, would be about 2/3's of the receivers making clown catches, no chance in hell he successfully runs a Martz-type accuracy & timing O to smaller receivers.

Its his pre & postsnap reads, accuracy, timing & poise against pressure that have all lacked from day one... the best i hope for is that maybe Haleys often helter-skelter offense was to blame for atleast some of Cassels suck, how many times did he make that 'i gotta piss' face waiting for a call?

Not to excuse Cassel by any means, or unduly slam Haley, who certainly DID rattle a few of the right cages & shake a few of the right things up... but maybe we'll see a Cassel more like 2010 with more consistency without redass Haleys manic offense... if he HAS to be the starter, i'd rather see him do well.

But i wont hold my breath.

Well, when your quarterback throws a 15 MPH fastball, the one handed grab isn't quite so majestic...

He caught the ball at its highest point 40 yards from the LOS? Cassel must have the strongest arm in human history.

Cassels deep ball problems have always been the overthrow.

Even with Moss in 2008, he overthrew a ton of deep passes to him.

It's one of the strangest things in sports...he underthrows short passes and overthrows the deeper ones.

I've seen him terribly underthrow deep balls, too. See Chambers, 2009.

He is just a piece of shit QB with highly questionable accuracy past 10-15 yards.

Most of the time, it's overthrown.

If that wasn't the case, he would have thrown a lot of picks on underthrown deep balls and he really hasn't.

The problem with his deep passes is that they aren't effective at all.

They are inaccurate and sporadic.

His windup delivery takes forever and it gives DBs the jump to break on the ball.

He doesn't have the arm strength to make those passes without putting a lot of air under the ball and that also gives defenders more time.
