Do you think we can handle turning HTML on?
I have seen some good boards go down simply because of constant HTML abuse...but I doubt with the community that we have it will ever be a problem. I should have a link to a photos section up by late tomorrow and that way we can cut down on inline photos and add as many photo links as we need to!!!

I also have gotten some very good suggestions on making minor changes to the format (mostly adding the first message/topic description to the top of each page, like it is on the old bbs in blue)

ANY thoughts , suggestions, other ideas?

BTW I'm STILL working on the Netscape problem... I think I may have an answer soon.

I think it would be great if you could make the first post appear at the top of the board. I really appreciate all the work you've done this site looks really good and has a much more positive vibe. Just what we need before our '00 season officially starts!<BR>

I will stop with the gif's and photo's..I'm sure alot of people are having fun with the additional features this board has, after all most people are from the other site with no toys at all.. hopefully it wont be a problem....Joe

Wolfman - I think the keyword is "Austin"...

Austin - HTML would be nice, but if it causes problems then kill it and explain why. I think people would rank uptime more important then HTML. Is there a way to add a refresh when you click on the topic, I have my setting set to refresh everytime and I still get the previous version and have to hit refresh each time I go into a topic. Of course this could be my proxy and not the BB, and if that is the case I can deal with it. I will let you know if anything else pops into my twisted little head.

Austin - Another thing did just pop in my mind, having the number (8 of 9) next to the post would be nice, make it easier to keep track of. Thanks.

I'm just glad that we've got a great place to be.

Because this style of board writes static HTML after every post there are always a few issue with the "refresh."

I added some hacks to the scripts that will help...but I'm still looking for a complete solution.

Yep, unfortunately I don't live in KC anymore ... I'm down in Austin, TX. I appreciate the offer though!

BTW if anybody is ever in Austin on a gameday - I'm buying the pitchers at the Tavern!!!<BR>

Actually getting the time correct would also be a bonus. Just seems odd to have them time 5 minutes faster then the rest of the internet.
