WE WON!!! Down ten, Central marching in again from ten yards out, early in the fourth. Our defense finally gets a stop, and they are forced to try a field goal. THEY MISS and leave the door open!!! Anyway, we came back and won the stupid thing, even though their 260 lb. tailback ran through us like warm butter and their quarterback picked us apart.

Curses! Darn you Pitt Gorrillas to the deepest pits of heck....or something like that.
Seriously, Pitt, I do appreciate you discussing the MIAA though. Here in Maryland, it's virtually impossible to catch the scores here. Football has never been Central's strong point anyway. Just wait for Basketball season though. Bob Dole has a PSU sticker on his t-bone case from the 1981 PSU Jazz Festival. Does that count?<BR>

Bob Dole,
Cool, another jazz T-bone player in the group. Man, I haven't played in years, but I enjoyed the years I played. Used to go down the the "First National Fog Bank" in Monterey, when I was stationed there at least three or four nights a week to listen to the live Jazz or Blues there. Monterey was great for that. There are some good jazz places up here in the Balto-DC area, but somehow having a seven year old tends to slow down the all-night jam sessions...sigh. ------------------ Misplaced Chiefs Fan Red and Gold on the Warpath Nightwolf Graphics |

Bob Dole dug his out about 4 months ago and is trying to get his lip back. Sat in one Saturday practice with a bunch here that plays once or twice a week at bars aroud town, but it's going to be a few more months at least before Bob Dole feels up to playing in public (and another few months before that high F happens...)

Bob Dole,
I sympathize with you there. I haven't played sinde 1984. I'd be hard pressed to get the lip back into shape in less than a year. I do a little "air t-bone" now and again, just remembering the slide positions. I know where all the dang notes should be, just wouldn't care to have people have to listen to me right now.
