Tivo Premiere - is it worth it
They have a sale on the base model Tivo Premiere for $50. Records 75 hours of HD shows.

This is the only unit that can utilize a digital antenna. The rest require cable.

The monthly fee is $15 which seems high for basically giving you a live TV Guide.

Is this setup worth it for the overall monthly cost?

We've had Tivos for years, could never go without again.

Upgrade the HD fairly easy.

I only pay $6.95/mo on a retention plan for one, and bought lifetime on the other for $100 a couple years ago.

What do you mean by upgrade the HD easy? Is that the Premiere or an older model?

We are debating between the Premiere and the new model Roamio. The Roamio is $200 but has 4 tuners instead of just 2. Not sure if that is worth the extra $150 considering both only store 75 hours of HD.

you can replace the hard drive with a larger one with some simple free software.

Haven't seen a Roamio in person, but I didn't think they supported OTA at all.

Roamio supports it but only on the base model. Just like Premiere except it has 4 tuners instead of 2.

The Premiere can be upgraded with Windows, i did mine.
