All joking aside but how the Hell is Florida-MU not on one of the ESPN cable channels? I see it's going to be on ESPN 3 which is great if you're into watching KU-Washburn or something but these are two ranked teams with very little TV coverage.

I know MU isn't the biggest draw in college football but that's downright embarrassing.

The TV timeslots are picked 2 weeks in advance. They don't typically, if ever, have another SEC game on at the same time at the 2:30 CBS slot. Alabama is on ESPN at the 6 pm slot. LSU is at the ESPN2 6 pm slot.

You are leaving out that the Mizzou game is being shown on SEC TV which is shown in most TV markets over the air.

If ESPN had the option to choose an SEC game with 2 ranked teams at 2:30, I am sure they would. Unfortunately it's not an option.

Yea I know that most ESPN 3 broadcasts get picked up by a local cable station. In NYC it's on MSG. However on a lot of those stations it's going to get bumped for local programming. Hockey, Basketball, Soccer, etc... even feature sports programming that isn't even a live event bumps games off MSG.

It's a pretty big game. Weird that it didn't find it's way on to one of the 2 main ESPN stations. Your other games are South Carolina-Tennessee which I can see them not wanting to move. But Northwestern-Minnesota?

Most TV games decided two weeks out, just goes to show how little faith the networks had in Mizzou beating Ga and making this a meaningful game. The same talking heads that claim it wasn't an upset now.
