If you don't have the ambition to work out and be the best, you're a ****ing dumbass.
Geno might not pan out, but he has a good work ethic unlike Russell

I think EJ Manuel might be the best QB out of this draft now. They will fix his turn over problems and when they do, holy shit watch out.
I'm off the Geno wagon and on the EJ Manuel. Get a 2nd round pick for Albert ONLY if it means it's EJ Manuel. He'll most likely be long gone by then though..

In fairness to him it would be hard to throw any QB in that situation and expect them to succeed. During his tenure in Oakland the 'faid probably had the worst offensive line the NFL has seen in the last 10 yrs, easily the worst management in the NFL, and a revolving door at head coach. Hard for a young QB to have a positive attitude in that situation.

Russell got his 2nd pay day thanks to ESPN. Him and his mom are happy now. ESPN took all of the shot's that we saw earlier and made into a 30 for 30.

I really like the guy. It'd be nice to see him come back and succeed somewhere. Not to mention the massive "F U" it would be to the Faiders.

I wasn't aware of his backstory, losing the two uncles at such early ages who had been so instrumental in raising him and being his moral compasses. It happened just before all his troubles started, and perhaps it was the prime mover in his downfall.
Who knows, maybe he does have his head straightened out from having Garcia train him. If they can take a look at him for next to nothing, why not? |
