I don't personally think the cancer has anything to do with it. I think Walt is feeling invincible at this point, and wants to flaunt it a bit.

I also think anyone who thinks Walt and Jessie are essentially the same person is crazypants. It's been awesome watching the arc of those two characters, which seem almost inverse to each other...

I really don't think that's the case. If he still felt death's looming presence, I think he'd be cautious and saving it all for his family when he passes. Instead he thinks he is immortal and has plenty of time to live like a kingpin and create dynastic wealth.

Yeah, didn't lay out every detail b/c I just wanted to make the Gilligan/Cranston connection.

HAD forgotten [or never really realized] that the guy who got caught in between the subway and the deck on Homicide was D'Onofrio. THAT was a chilling episode of television.

This whole season has made me pretty happy. The first episode was the only real misstep (this season). Some of the character choices are suspect, but I need more information before I call foul. So far, I'd say this season is off to the strongest start since the first season.
