I don't even know what the hell those are, but it sounds like something that goes good with bacon.

Give me the standard Apple, Orange, Pear, Peach. I'll leave the Hippy fruit to the veggies, urbanites and the island folk.

Nothing beats a clementine, except maybe a really good orange.
Peaches come in close behind.

I don't think they are very good. Way too freaking tart. I would never eat them plain.

I'm pretty fond of papaya, mango, plantains, and rhubarb. Not together. Pomegranates are okay, but they aren't on my list. I'm not a big fruit eater, usually.

Is the pomegranate the thing with all of the seeds? How do you eat it? I bought one once and puzzled over it like an ape with a shotgun, and never figured it out.

I'm with mohillbilly on this one. Watermelon is hard to beat.
