Also, I'm confident that Alex Smith would have had more success in his career if he didn't have a small problem with sucking.

Haha

What are you talking about?

Phillip Rivers has been benched like 4 times for trash players, lost whole seasons to injury and has only been in 2 playoff games in his career.

If he were to get that Arrowhead on his helmet, though, I'd say we have a "10 win floor"

Jackson
Sproles
Turner

Then, not adequately having a replacement for McNeil in place when they knew when they drafted him that his back wasn't gonna hold up forever.

I mean, who did SD retain on offense during Rivers time there?

Anyone?

Rivers has only been pulled a few times in garbage time and yes never missed a season due to injury.

Your post is completely wrong.

And you guys are saying you wouldn't trade a guy who has only had 2 good seasons for a guy who has only had 2 bad seasons, where he had no blocking at all?

we might be quicker to ask exactly which QBS CLAY WOULDNT trade for Alex smith. that would save a lot of time.

It's funny how people around here ride Matt Ryan's jock even though his offense was unable to score a single point against the Giants in their 2011 playoff meeting.

You know, the same Giants team that was taken to overtime by the Alex Smith led 49ers that ultimately lost 20-17.
