So don't throw a fastball. Throw a slider that breaks in the dirt or a change up off of the plate and see if Quentin chases. If not then you still have Quentin at first with a double play candidate coming up and you haven't risked getting ejected or starting a brawl.

But he has thrown at him on purpose before, so I don't think you can say it's out of the question. I don't think Greinke cared one way or the other, nor should he have, but he was going inside no matter what. If it hit him, then so be it.
