Jets have the toughest schedule in 2010

What a joke, the Colts and Saints have easier schedules than the Jets. The Colts get spotted two wins playing the Chiefs and Raiders, and the Saints by virtue of the crap division they are in get 4 games against shit teams like the Bucs and Carolina BUT they also get these out of division gimme's:

The Clowns and the Rams.

What a joke.

The Jets schedule:

Mon 9/13 Baltimore Ravens Baltimore 7:00 pm
Sun 9/19 New England Patriots New England 4:15 pm
Sun 9/26 Miami Dolphins at Miami 8:20 pm
Sun 10/3 Buffalo Bills at Buffalo 1:00 pm
Mon 10/11 Minnesota Vikings Minnesota 8:30 pm
Sun 10/17 Denver Broncos at Denver 4:05 pm
Bye
Sun 10/31 Green Bay Packers Green Bay 1:00 pm
Sun 11/7 Detroit Lions at Detroit 1:00 pm
Sun 11/14 Cleveland Browns at Cleveland 1:00 pm
Sun 11/21 Houston Texans Houston 1:00 pm
Thu 11/25 Cincinnati Bengals Cincinnati 8:20 pm
Mon 12/6 New England Patriots at New England 8:30 pm
Sun 12/12 Miami Dolphins Miami 4:15 pm
Sun 12/19 Pittsburgh Steelers at Pittsburgh 4:15 pm
Sun 12/26 Chicago Bears at Chicago 1:00 pm
Sun 1/2 Buffalo Bills Buffalo 1:00 pm

That is brutal.

Exactly. There is no way you can let a SB team play the team with the worst record.

It's bad enough they get two wins spotted to them playing the Buc's.

Schedules are set years ahead of time.

1. You play everyone in your division twice.

2. You play each NFC division completing the rotation every 4 years (4 divisions)

3. Rotate the AFC divisions the same as above.

4. The "filler" games (3 left) are the division rank equivalent team within each division in the AFC

The strength of schedule is only determined by, I believe 3 games. There are 2 divisions that your team is going to play every year, and has been mentioned, it's determined years in advance. It's mostly a crap shoot.

It's only 2.

6 division games
4 from an AFC division
4 from an NFC division
which leaves 2 'filler' games.

Thank you. Finally, someone who gets it and doesn't want to tell me shit I already know just to make themselves sound important ie YEAH, I KNOW THE SCHEDULES ARE MADE YEARS IN ADVANCE.

THAT'S BESIDE THE F'N POINT.

The point is/was, the Jets have a brutal schedule and the Colts and Saints schedule is a friggin' joke and a half.

The two filler games--- ONE OF THEM SHOULD NOT BE AGAINST A LAST PLACE TEAM.

The NFL goes out of it's way to screw the Jets. For example, the Jets had to play Oakland, in Oakland, like 10 f'n seasons in a row, and now that they suck, we don't play them any more. Coincidence? Riiiiiiiiiiiight. Oh, but the Colts get to play them now.

The Colts play them because the AFC South plays the AFC West this year...

What part of last place don't you get??? OK, the Chiefs should not be playing the Colts just because the AFC WEST was scheduled against the AFC South YEARS IN ADVANCE.

Las place teams should play each other, not the SB winner and runner up. That's BS

There aren't many teams left that actually have a longer Super Bowl drought than us. Thank God for the Jets.
