Oakland or San Diego?

I haven't seen anybody talking about this game, but it's a tough choice. Do you root for our sworn enemy of the Raiders, who we hate with a fiery passion, when their win would benefit us? Or do you root for the Chargers, who we really don't hate all that much, but whose presence could keep us out of the playoffs?

No cop out answers on this one. Make your choice.

Oh Come on..this is easy.....root for the Raiders. The Raiders have nothing left to play for but Pride. The Bolts could be thes best team to NOT make the playoffs. I see the Bolts winning this game easily though.

A rivalry is one thing, but the rivalry doesn't mean near as much as making it to the playoffs. So I would have to go with the Raiders. Overall I would prefer an asteroid hitting the stadium or possibly the bubonic plague nailing both teams locker rooms would be preferable.

I thought about making something like that a third option, but I figured it would end up being a pretty much unanimous vote.

We need the Chargers to lose, and lose, and lose. I think we're gonna have a tough time beating them on tiebreakers.

Of course, you want the Raiders to win this game. They have the worse record.

Look at it this way, you are not rooting for the Raiders, you are rooting against the Chargers.

If we want a WC spot there is no choice but to root against the Chargers. Thankfully I hate SD almost as much after having to put up with their fans on a daily basis.

I hate the Raiders more than any other team but there's no way in hell I'd pick a Raider loss over a Chief playoff birth...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I voted to root for the Chargers because the idiot who came up with this, the lamest poll of the year, actuallly offered it as a choice...

Besides, I hate the word "unanimously"...
